Kenyans protest over police Brutality

Widespread protest have erupted across many counties in kenya, including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Nakuru.

The demonstrations are driven by anger over police brutality, rising costs of living, corruption, and dissatisfaction with governance.

The government response has included deployment of police to major cities, barricading of government buildings, arrests, and clashes between security forces and demonstrators.

Speaking on Fri,03/10/2025 civil society and human rights groups are calling for investigations and demanding the government address underlying grievances.

 The protest highlight deep public frustration with governance in kenya.Unless the government take concrete steps to address these concerns and restore public trust, polital tensions are likely to persist and possibly to intensify as the 2027 elections approach
